Le Golden Igel in Hamburg

extremely cool restaurant! everything PERFECT! Simply delicious and great employees!

We were again at the Igel on our last visit to Hamburg and I have to say it was a nice evening again in a cozy atmosphere with nice hosts with very tasty tapas 😊 Of course, we ordered classics such as Pimentos al Pardon, dates wrapped in bacon and Albondigas, but also a slightly different version of the Patatas Brava, as well as aioli with delicious bread. Then came a second round, which I unfortunately can't remember in detail 🤔😁, but which was just as tasty as the first round😍 Finally we shared the delicious raspberry dream and enjoyed a vitamin-rich short Kur. It was again a great pleasure for us and when we are in Hamburg again, we will definitely come back to Le Golden Igel. Thank you for a great evening and kudos to the great team 😃❤️

Best tapas, the red wine onions alone are a poem ... Nice and very polite staff, who read every wish from your lips, even through the mask ... We almost felt like we were part of the family ... The implementation of the aha The rules are very well implemented for this cozy restaurant ... We will definitely come back again and again!

Le Golden Igel was a real surprise for us! The restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside and a bit hidden and has only a few tables, but if you are lucky enough to get a free one, you have a 6 in the lottery. The tapas are all excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and happy to advise you on the choice of dishes. All in all, an absolute recommendation! It's a shame that we don't live in Hamburg - otherwise we would be here more often now. :)

Booked via opentable two hours in advance, without any problems. Friendly, open, courteous and lively service, paired with a small restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere. The food was promptly at the table and of great taste. Reordered and enjoyed it until dessert. The wines are selected, so the menu is small, which doesn't detract from the selection. For us, the restaurant is proof that quality is not always served in large dining rooms, that friendliness does not have to be superimposed and that ambience can certainly arise on a small scale! Summary TOP, anytime again!

Locally nice and quaint. Food very good. Wine selection and prices okay. And finally a homemade liquorice schnapps. That was the high point.

The food was delicious, the wines were good and the staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodating! A real tip in Hamburg !! We will definitely come back and eat delicious. PS: for everyone who wants to know how seriously one takes the hygiene regulations here: very! You can stop here with peace of mind.

Great tapas! Very interesting creations are also offered here. Nothing is dripping with fat here, as is often the case with tapas. The caring staff almost gives the impression that you belong to the family. You are more than in good hands here. Definitely try the albondigas!

This place is a hidden gem! It is located in a quiet little street a bit off the big roads, but don’t think you are wrong when you are walking to it; we stayed in the Marriott close to Gänzemarkt and it was only a five minute walk). The food was the best of the best! Really every single little tapas plate was of absolutely stunning quality. I can not name one, as all of them were really great. Their homemade liquor (the fruity one was really nice, and the one with licorice flavor was even better) topped off a wonderful evening. The waiters super welcoming and amazingly friendly and had tons of humor. Highly recommend!!!

Yummy food!

Their food is good but their prices are a little steep. The last time I went there both the fish sticks and the mashed potato seemed like Store bought, which wouldn't be a problem for me if it was a little cheaper.
